You can also purchase "ShowBids Credits" to bid with. You do this by buying ShowBids Credit packages through our secure payment option from your MyTVBids account.
When you have bought a ShowBids Credit package, the bid credits are added to your bid account and you can begin using them to place bids in the auctions.
The reverse auction works like this:
1. Place bids by pressing the BID button - you will be prompted to log in to your MyTVBids account. 2. Spending one or more ShowBids Credits will reveal the actual price of the auction item. 3. You may purchase the item at this point or bid again later to reveal the updated price.
Buy ShowBid Credits at .45 to .80 each (USD). Bid with the required number of credits to reveal the item price. You may bid as often and on as many items as you wish at which time you can decide to purchase the item or bid again later.
If you bid and the revealed price is $0.00, you instantly win the auction! Of course, you don't have to wait until you are the last bidder... you can use the "BUY NOW" button to purchase the item at any time after you have made a bid to reveal the price of the item.
Items you have bid on, as well as the revealed price at the time of your bid will be displayed in your MyTVBids account. Items you have won will also be listed there.
