How do I participate?
In order to participate in MyTVBids, you first need to register. There is no cost to register. Once you have successfully registered, you can purchase "ShowBid Credits" directly from your MyTVBids account and start bidding right away.
If you are an active MyTV Business member, you have automatic access to your MyTVBids account so just log in with your ID# and password.
I am an active member of MyTVClassifieds. How do I get the free credits that I have accumulated over the last few months?
As soon as you log in to the MyTVBids site, you will find your free credits in your "Credit Balance" under the "My Account" menu on the left hand side. You may use them any time to bid on auction items at MyTVBids or to transfer to other members if you wish.
How do I purchase a bid?
You may only place bids with credits. You can purchase "ShowBid Credits" directly from your MyTVBids account. When you are logged in, you will see the "Buy ShowBid Credits" button where you can go to purchase credits to bid with. You can pay securely through our Credit Card payment processor.
How do I use free credits?
Free credits that you accumulate through your monthly MyTV Business subscription are used the same way as purchased "ShowBid Credits". They have the same value. When you bid on an item, the appropriate number of credits will be deducted from your credit balance.
What does it cost to purchase "ShowBid Credits"?
"ShowBid Credits" cost anywhere from 0.45 to 0.80 USD each, depending on your MyTV Business subscription status. Whether you are an MBA, MBAPlus or MBAPro member determines the discount that you are entitled to when you purchase "ShowBid Credits". If you are not an active member of MyTV, your cost is 0.80 per credit. Credits can be purchased in packages of various sizes with discounts offered for larger packages.
I won an auction, what do I do next?
Congratulations! First, you should only be bidding if you intend to win or purchase the item and are ready to do so in the event that this occurs.
As soon as you win or click the "BUY NOW" button on an auction item, this item is removed from the auction and you must complete the transaction by making payment (if one is required). If a payment is required and you do not complete the transaction within the time specified, the item will go back to the auction and your transaction will be automatically canceled. This is to ensure that we do not have members continually clicking the "BUY NOW" button which disables the auction item, if they do not intend to pay for the item.
If you won an item (item went to $0.00 and you were the last bidder) where shipping is included in the price, your won item will be listed in your account with the option to claim it. You must contact support@mytvbids.com and provide your shipping address. We will ship you the product within 14 days.

What if I need to return a purchased item?
You can return most products you purchase from us if there is a problem. However, there are some products for which no returns are accepted (TVs etc) and this will be stated on the product description.
Our customer support and will be happy to assist you. Please note that we can only offer a refund on the final auction price not including the shipping costs. We can not refund the price of the bids you placed.
Please do not send the item directly to us as that will slow down the return process and delay your refund.

How many auctions can I win per month?
At this point, we have no set limits as to the number of auctions that each user can win per month. We reserve the right to adjust this in the future so that as many people as possible can have the opportunity to take advantage of MyTVBids’ fantastic savings.
Is MyTVBids like a lottery?
No, MyTVBids is not a lottery. In this type of auction, there is no chance or random element and the person placing the last bid is bound to purchase the product at the last bid price reached.
How does the "Buy Now" option work?
The "Buy Now" option allows you to buy the auctioned product for the revealed price at that moment. You can buy the product at any time when the auction is online, but when you click "BUY NOW" you must complete the transaction at that time or the item will go back to the active auctions.
Can I participate in MyTVBids even if I am not an active member of MyTVClassifieds?
Yes. Anyone can participate in our reverse auction. You first need to register for a MyTVBids account.
What is your payment processor for MyTVBids?
All transactions are processed through Alertpay. If you do not have an Alertpay account you can get one here: (will be added soon)
If you do not yet have an Alertpay account, you will be able to complete a transaction directly through your credit card and an Alertpay account will be generated for you at that time.
